Tim Sidden – Pianist • Producer • Orchestrator

Tim Sidden, a North Wilkesboro, N.C. native, has spent his life behind the keys, crafting a career that spans thousands of shows and hundreds of recordings. By the age of 21, he had already played piano on over 100 records for top gospel and country artists, drawing inspiration from legends like Gary Prim, Matt Rollings, and Anthony Burger.

In 1990, Tim became the featured pianist for Calvin Gilmore’s acclaimed Carolina Opry and Dixie Jubilee, performing in nearly 5,000 shows over 14 years while also developing his award-winning orchestration skills. His arranging style — often described as having a “movie soundtrack” quality — led to work on countless studio projects, producing, orchestrating, and recording for numerous Top 40 country and gospel hits.

After moving to Nashville, Tim toured nationally with the The Honky-Tonk Tailgate Party, sharing the stage with country stars Daryle Singletary, Rhett Akins, Chad Brock, David Kersh, and Jeff Carson. He’s performed at iconic venues like The Grand Ole Opry and Ryman Auditorium and his music has been featured on major networks, including ESPN and The Discovery Channel.

Tim was a founding member of the Cat5 Band who won 6 Cammy Awards during their 5 years of touring the East Coast, and continues producing, orchestrating, and writing music for TV, film, and radio as well as artist in the East Coast Beach Music Scene.

His credits include The Carolina Opry, Daryle Singletary, Rhett Akins, Jimmy Fortune, John Schneider, T. Graham Brown, Whey Jennings, Georgette Jones, Chad Brock, and many more.
